    He was Country Manager at the Bitex and Ripio exchanges, Crypto Advisor at the C-Effect cryptocurrency investment fund, and teaches the Cryptocurrency Course at Universidad Católica del Uruguay.

    He is currently Vice President of the Uruguayan Fintech Chamber and a Director at CriptoGuardian, helping individuals and companies operate with cryptocurrencies safely.

    A Certified Public Accountant with more than ten years of experience in anti-money laundering, regulatory compliance, financial investigations, and blockchain intelligence.

    He built his career at leading companies in the crypto ecosystem, such as Xapo and Ripio, where he served as Senior AML & Corporate Compliance Analyst. He holds international certifications from IFCA, TRM Labs, and Chainalysis.

    At CriptoGuardian he works on Crypto-Compliance-as-a-Service solutions, contributing his experience designing monitoring, traceability, and risk-management tools for virtual-asset businesses such as NexusGuardian.

    He started his career in DevOps at TCS and built most of his track record at multinational fintech companies: he was Head of IT Operations at D24, a payments processor where he owned cloud architecture, databases, and the observability of payment systems, and Head of IT at LimePay, relocating to Asia to open the company's corporate offices.

    That experience running critical infrastructure in regulated environments and integrating banking and payment systems is the foundation of his work at CriptoGuardian: bringing to the crypto ecosystem the technology and compliance practices traditional finance has already figured out.
